A Funny Moment on Set
Busy Philipps recently experienced an awkward yet amusing situation while on the set of her upcoming movie Horrified. In a humorous Instagram story, she shared how she wasn’t actually working on any scenes that day because it was her daughter, Birdie, who was filming. While waiting for Birdie to finish, Philipps decided to keep herself occupied by fixing a small tear in her skirt with help from the wardrobe department.
"I needed just a needle and thread from wardrobe because I had a little tear in my skirt. I can sew! I can fix my f--king skirt. I don't need somebody else to do it," she said on her story.
As she sat behind the monitors repairing her outfit, she started chatting with one of the film’s other stars, Harry Jowsey, known for his role in Too Hot to Handle. However, as they continued talking, Philipps quickly realized that Jowsey had no idea who she was. In fact, due to her sewing project, he thought she was part of the wardrobe department.
"And so I'm chatting with this kid. I mean, he's 28 and adorable...Anyway, so he's like, 'How long have you been doing costumes?'" Philipps revealed. She then explained that she was doing costumes "just today" before finally revealing her true identity as one of the film’s stars. Fortunately, both of them found the misunderstanding funny and even took a photo together afterward.
